BSEE Director Inspects Drilling Rigs

June 13, 2012, Seattle- Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE) Director Jim Watson visited Shell’s drilling rigs Kulluk and Noble Discoverer in Seattle today along with leaders from Alaska’s North Slope Borough and other officials from Alaska’s North Slope. The visit coincided with ongoing reviews of the two rigs by BSEE engineers and inspectors and Coast Guard safety inspectors.
