BSEE Employees Attend College Recruiting Fairs in Pacific Region

Earlier this week Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE) staff met with students at the University of Southern California and the University of Idaho. The recruitment fairs, held on February 4, provided BSEE an opportunity to highlight the benefits of a career in public service. BSEE is visiting a number of colleges and universities this spring, actively recruiting for open positions such as petroleum and civil engineers. Many events are targeting technical degree programs in disciplines such as engineering and geoscience.

BSEE Director Brian Salerno is committed to the bureau's recruitment and hiring of talented employees, saying that 'recruiting, training, and retaining a highly skilled workforce is essential to achieving our strategic goals and accomplishing the bureau's mission.'

Interested job candidates should apply online using USAJOBS.gov. A simple registration process allows applicants to create, edit, and archive resumes and other supporting documents. For more information, including details on student and recent graduate opportunities and employee benefits, please visit BSEE's careers page and list of current openings. Prospective applicants are encouraged to check back often for updated listings.
