Deputy Director Margaret Schneider Honored for Work on Diversity Issues

The Federal Asian Pacific American Council (FAPAC) has presented Deputy Director Margaret Schneider with an Outstanding Civilian Individual Award for Diversity Excellence. The award is presented annually to individuals who have shown a remarkable contribution towards diversity and inclusion through collaboration.

Deputy Director Schneider was honored for her work in leading a BSEE diversity and inclusion endeavor that is focused embracing diversity within the bureau and maximizing efforts to recruit and hire exceptional individuals from every background and every community. As leader of the BSEE Diversity Change Agent program, which includes employees from each program office and region, she provides guidance and training to employees on embracing the business, cultural, and demographic dimensions of diversity.
