NEW ORLEANS – The Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement was among 41 exhibitors at the 19th Annual Gulf of Mexico Deepwater Technical Symposium held August 19 and 20 in New Orleans. Staff from BSEEs Gulf of Mexico region got the opportunity to interact with the more than 550 attendees at the exhibit booth. During the two day sessions a representative from the Oil Spill Preparedness Division (OSPD) detailed response techniques used by BSEE, and the Gulf of Mexico Region pipeline section chief discussed pipeline dynamics assessment.
Technical sessions covered topics including drilling technology, health safety and environment (HSE), well completions, emerging technologies and pipelines.
