VENTURA, Calif. -- This week, staff from the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement (BSEE) Pacific Region helped kick off the 2015 Ventura County Fair here. The fair, which runs through August 16, is an opportunity for employees to share information about the bureau's activities and operations with the local community and highlight the benefits of a career in public service.
This year's fair, with the theme 'A Country Fair with Ocean Air,' marks the event's 140th anniversary. The BSEE booth is located in the fair's Agriculture & Natural Resources Building, which showcases exhibits from local and federal government agencies and Ventura County's natural resource and agriculture industry.
Visit the BSEE booth to learn more about the bureaus mission to promote safety, protect the environment, and conserve resources offshore through vigorous regulatory oversight and enforcement. For more information on careers with BSEE, please visit the bureau's Careers Page.
