This week, BSEE gave updates on production and development in the Gulf of America Region to two different groups in Texas. On June 4th, Gulf of America Region Production and Development Regional Supervisor Richie Baud addressed the OCS Advisory Board during their annual seminar. His presentation focused on BSEE's regulatory oversight, moving operators beyond minimum compliance, and conserving resources offshore.
On June 3rd, Gulf of America Region Measurement Approval and Enforcement Section Chief Fred Jacobs spoke with members of the Offshore Operators Committee. The organization is comprised of 138 members engaged in drilling and producing in the Gulf of America Region. Jacobs provided insight on production measurement applications and the role of the Measurement Inspection Unit.
