Director Watson visited the BSEE Alaska OCS Region the week of March 19-23. During his visit, he conducted an all-hands meeting with BSEE staff, participated in the Arctic Council Task Force meeting on oil spill response and visited Alaska Native communities on the North Slope where he met with Charlotte Brower, Mayor of the North Slope Borough. The two discussed potential energy development offshore Alaska and the concerns of local communities on the North Slope.
