Comparative Assessment of Electrical Standards and Practices

The activity of the six tasks of this project includes comparing IEC electrical standards to NEC, API, ANSI/UL and other standards,  examining Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratories, and examining standards used in International Regulator's Forum (IRF) countries.  The contractor will also provide exhibits of BSEE personnel using new and improved standards, including the provision of new/alternate Potential Incidents of Non-Compliance (PINCs).  BSEE may use any recommendations made by the contractor to make its electrical-related regulations easier to understand by industry, more robust, and easier to enforce.
