Description
COTS investigated a new approach for addressing the recovery of oil in ice. Their design's concept of operation involved a new skimming method to lift and separate water and oil mixtures while minimizing the collection system’s overall surface area. This project consisted of designing and demonstrating a prototype system at the Ohmsett facility.
