Ross Laidig is Chief of the Safety and Incident Investigations Division (SIID.) Laidig joined BSEE in 2011 after serving as a compliance officer for the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
As SIID Chief, Laidig leads the headquarters component of the BSEE National Investigations Program, tasked with developing the policies, training, and performance for BSEE investigations. SIID staff coordinate, lead, or participate in investigations of major incidents that may involve complex investigative issues and provide support to Regional and District investigations.
Laidig earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in criminology and criminal justice from the University of Maryland College Park in 2003, and a Master's degree in management from the University of Maryland University College in 2009.
